CONNECT TO TIME MANAGEMENT Once the RealVNC software has been installed, you can use it to allow Time Management Inc. to remotely service your computer!
Press Start, select Programs and find RealVNC in the menu.
From the RealVNC menu, select Run VNC Server.
The first time you open the VNC Server you will be presented with this dialogue. The default settings are perfect for our uses, however you should set your own password. After you type in a password, select OK to close this dialogue.
To grant remote access to your computer, right-click the VNC icon in the taskbar (near the clock on the bottom right of the screen). Select Add New Client from the popup menu.
You will be presented with a window asking for the host
name. At this point, contact Time Management Inc. and you will be given the host name to enter here. Simply enter the host name they tell you and press OK. Your Time Management Inc. technical support representive will now be able to work on your computer! [ home ] |
